About The CELL
Entrepreneurship Development Cell was created with the objective of generating the spirit of “Self Employment” among the students and also to create awareness among them to choose entrepreneurship as a career. Our institution is one among the selected 50 colleges in Tamil Nadu by the Government of Tamil Nadu for setting up Entrepreneurship Development Cell. The cell has received an initial funding of Rs.1,00,000 from the Government of Tamil Nadu for identifying, training and creating entrepreneurs among the students community.
Vision
We believe that entrepreneurship is the key that can unlock India's latent inventive potential. It will not only push India to the forefront of the world but also help raise the quality of life in the country. With this belief The Entrepreneurship Cell, Its targets to help in the development of India's entrepreneurial ecosystem by enabling easy and efficient interaction between it's major components spanning students, working professionals, aspiring and existing entrepreneurs, mentors, angel investors, venture capital firms and corporates through initiatives like interactive sessions, competitions, conferences et al.
Objectives
- To Create entrepreneurship awareness to the students.
- To Motivate students to make their own career path.
- To Arrange visit to Small Scale Industries.
- To Create awareness of self – financial schemes of various agencies.
