MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT
Teaching of Mathematics started right from the beginning of the college.
- Mathematics is a sharpened language for expressing science. In 2002 post graduate programme was introduced. Additional section I and II for UG Mathematics was started in the year 2003 and 2009 respectively. The total strength of our Department is around 625.
- Our department promotes quality education in Mathematics.
- It is an upcoming department now engaging itself in various activities like conducting student’s seminar, Quiz programme, Mathematics Exhibition etc., It has well experienced and dedicated faculty actively engaged in teaching research activities.
- They also render services to the student community from rural area, the growing young and aspiring students to achieve their goals. Within a short span of time it created a tradition of academic excellence and universal service.
- We have organised National &International Seminars Guest lectures , Online Webinars & Extension Activities .
- Our Faculty members have published in Peer Reviewed Journal & Book Chapters.
Vision, Mission & Objectives
- Promoting the arithmetic skills in the minds of the women students who hail from the rural and economically weaker section of the society, as mathematics is the Queen of Sciences.
- To Promote the analytical thinking through logical reasoning
- To create a mind set for quick arithmetic calculations
- To orient the students to acquire practice in finding quick solution to arithmetic problems
- To train the students in the application of mathematical tools to suggest solution for futurological problems
